The Real Real

...while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.  2 Corinthians 4:18.

God is the real Real. Among the many ways that He tried to explain Himself to our puny, limited understanding of spiritual things was as "I Am." (Exodus 3:14, John 8:58) Everything else is created. Everything else is limited. Everything else is dying. It is created then it begins the process of dying. It is bound to the line of time. However, through the I Am, we can receive eternal life. (1 John 5:11 ...God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son.) When we open our hearts to Him, suddenly we get a glimpse of a whole new way. We begin to see the reality of the spiritual and the temporary quality of everything that we see, hear, touch. The real, Real. God.
